Upcoming Church Events at North Island Baptist Church
* Folks Over Fifty", The regular monthly luncheon and fellowship for seniors will be February the 11th at 12 Noon, don't miss this great time of fellowship, food and fun!
* New Wednesday Night Bible Study for Ladies, Starting February 17th-March 24th on Wednesday nights at 7:00PM a new video based bible study is being offered at NIBC for the ladies. The study is called " Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed a Study of David". The bible study is taught by Beth Moore, Priscilla Shiver and Kay Arthur. These three ladies explored their lives and the life of David. You will laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them.
The cost of the student book is $13.00. You can pre-register at the Welcome Center at the church or call the church office a t 689-3800.
* On February the 20th our men will be having a time of fellowship with a private tour of the local Best Buy and all the new technology! It will be called " Making Technology Work For You". We will meet at "Stooges Restaurant" for breakfast, a devotion and fellowship at 7:00AM followed by the tour from 8:00-9:30AM. For those who would like to go golfing, we will go to Eagle's Pointe to play 9 holes together. Don't miss this real guy kind of fun and fellowship!
* Financial Peace University. A new semester of "Financial Peace University" featuring Dave Ramsey will begin at North Island on March 1st. The preview luncheon will be held on February 21st at Noon following the morning service. There will also be another opportunity to see and preview on February 22nd at 6:30PM. You can start to pre-register for the lunch and preview at the Welcome Center or call the church office at 689-3800. Don't miss this great opportunity that will help you in these trouble times we are all going through in this country with our economy. Four couples have already pre-registered.
* March 20th, Habitat for Humanity Mission Trip, Ridgeland, S.C. This will be a very worthy mission project for our men and ladies as we help build homes for people in real need. This will be from 7-12Noon. You can pre-register at the Welcome Center or call the church office at 689-3800. You must be at least 16 years old to participate.
